1. What is GWQuoting?

GWQuoting is a add-on for GroupWise. When active it parses the text of the reply message and applies internet-style quoting to. Long lines are wrapped after 72 characters and a quoting mark ('>') included a space is inserted in front of the line.

2. How to install GWQuoting?

GWQuoting's installation routine is as simple as possible. Close the GroupWise client, run the installer and rerun GroupWise.

3. Is it possible to do a silent install?

Yes, a silent install can be achieved via the command line switch /S.

4. Can the 'wrote on' phrase be customized?

Yes it can. If you are familiar with setting configuration options via the registry editor regedit, you can customize the 'wroteon' phrase by editing the value WroteOnString in the key:

	HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\CuC\GWQuoting

5. I found a bug/problem - what to do now?

Mail us! We'll do our best to solve any issues as fast as possible.

6. Known problems.

GWQuoting is not always able to correctly locate the beginning of the date in the header of the cited message. When this happens the phrase 'wrote on' appears somewhere in the date. This actually happens only if you configured your client to use a long date/time format as mailbox date/time format. (See the screenshot below). At this time, this issue can only be solved by setting the mailbox date/time format to short format.
